We were given a brief to redesign the Wizard of Oz in a choice of four themes for a prospective game. I chose the pirate theme and aimed for a lighthearted kids game feel. I really enjoyed this module and had a lot of fun creating the characters!
Rendered Tinman.
Tinman Design. Character had to have a fire ability and a blade based weapon, so I gave him a sword arm prosthetic that can be lit on fire and an axe foot for a painful kick between the legs.
Dorothy Design. Coming from a midwestern town, thrown into the pirate world of OZ, Dorothy had to have air powers that allow her to ump high and float down.
Witch Design. Leader of the antagonistic navy, she had to have a lightning ability and so has storm glass weapons that burst where they land into a lightning strike.
Character Lineup.
Flying enemy vehicle. Operated by three crew-mates, one to power the vehicle and the other two on the wings to throw projectiles form above.
